Lorna J. Schuessler

Lorna was born on May 17, 1942 to Peter and Regina (Malloy) Schuessler. Growing up, Lorna spent a lot of time with her Malloy grandparents at F & Tioga Streets in Philadelphia. She cherished her many pictures and stories of those days.

She was well educated, earning her Master's Degree. Lorna was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Human Services, formerly known as the Department of Public Welfare, in various agencies and positions. She retired from the Department of Human Services, Bucks County Assistance Office, Warminster District where she was the District Administrator.

Lorna was always dressed to the nines. She had many interests and hobbies including cooking and gardening. Lorna especially enjoyed gardening, growing her own herbs and vegetables. She was an avid reader and listened to classical music. Lorna had the opportunity to see Andre Boccelli in concert which she enjoyed immensely. Lorna loved cats and poetry. She loved to travel, especially cruises and road trips up and down the east coast to Colonial Williamsburg, her summer vacations in Ocean City, NJ. and to Bethlehem for Christkindlmarket where she enjoyed the Christmas illuminations and decorations. She loved Christmas and kept a tree decorated year-round. 

Lorna passed away on January 8, 2026 after a brief illness. Her funeral services were private.
