Gertrude "Honey" Haggerty

Gertrude "Honey" Haggerty was born on April 29, 1944 to John and Gertrude (McAleer) Haggerty in Philadelphia. The sun set on her on June 2, 2025. She leaves behind her daughter and best friend, Staceyann P. Haggerty-Fleig and her three grandchildren -- she was so proud of Brigidmarie, Christian and Theresarose Ferreira, and also her loud but beloved pets Rosie, Pudge, Littleman and Daisy the Rooster. Trudy worked at Verizon for 47 years and was an active volunteer of Pioneers of America.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Holy Innocents Church, 1337 E. Hunting Park Avenue (Intercession of L Street and E. Hunting Park Avenue), Philadelphia, PA 19124. Her visitation begins at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment is private.
