Eileen Julia Crozier

Eileen Julia Crozier (née Brun), born on July 25, 1951 passed away on September 26, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. Eileen is predeceased by her parents Elmer and Elizabeth (nee Moran) Brun and her husband, Joseph Crozier.

Eileen devoted much of her life to caring for others, both through her family and through a long and accomplished career as a registered nurse. She spent the first half of her career at Episcopal Hospital, where she worked in and later helped manage the Intensive Care Unit. She devoted the second half of her career to managing dialysis units. A skilled nurse and dedicated leader, Eileen was deeply respected and beloved by the many nurses and staff members who worked with her over the years.

Eileen faced one of the greatest challenges of her life when she lost her husband while still a mother of teenage boys. Left to raise three boys, she met that responsibility with remarkable strength and determination. She worked tirelessly to provide for her sons and to make sure each of them had the opportunity to attend college. Her devotion to her family, her resilience, and her willingness to work hard for the people she loved were defining qualities throughout her life.

Eileen also knew how to enjoy life. She loved spending time at the Jersey Shore, especially at her condo in Wildwood, which became a favorite place to relax and spend time with the people she loved. Later in life, she rediscovered another great joy: dancing. She loved going out dancing with her friends, finding in it not only something she loved to do, but also friendship, laughter, and a renewed sense of fun.

Above all, Eileen was a mother, grandmother, sister, and a central presence in the lives of those who loved her. She is survived by her three sons, Joe (Karin), Tim (Bridget), and Jeff (April); her eight grandchildren, Madison, Aidan, Alannah, Noah, Tim, Reece, Quinn, and Vivian; her twin brother, Edward (Joanne); and her sister, Ellen (Kevin) Gallagher. Eileen's life was one of service, strength, and devotion to the people around her. Her influence lives on not only in her family, but also in the countless patients, colleagues, and friends whose lives she touched during her years as a nurse and leader.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. She will be remembered in a private ceremony with family and close friends.
