Brian C. Devine

Brian C. Devine of Philadelphia, passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 64, after a long battle with Guillain-Barre Syndrome. He is the son of Bernie and Kay (nee Kathleen Guckin) Devine, who he now joins in heaven.

Brian was a proud graduate of Northeast Catholic High School, leading him to be very active on the board of the Alumni Association. He worked hard his whole life; with his last 15 years being at Comcast, he became everyone's favorite cable guy.

He was a dedicated family man, who thrived selflessly. Brian enjoyed life with his wife of 27 years, Teresa (nee Thomas), his daughter, Jaimie (Mike) Rose, and most of all, his grandchildren, Nathan, Bella, Michael and Aubrey. He was the youngest of seven siblings in a large Kensington family. He is survived by his sisters Bernadette Bouks and Kathleen (Chris) Burke, and his brothers Jack (Alice), Bob (Nikki), Kevin (Patricia) and Jim (Theresa). Brian had much pride in his family, school, community and was a lifelong Eagles fan, of course.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Brian's funeral on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Maternity B.V.M. Church, 9220 Old Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19115 (near Welsh Road and Bustleton Avenue). His visitation is 9-10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment of cremains will follow Mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
