Anna (Nancy) H. Troescher

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy (Anna) Troescher (nee Hughes), at the age of 87. Nancy was born and raised in Philadelphia, a Mayfair girl through and through. She was a member of St. Matthew Church and graduated in the class of 1952. She was a St. Hubert (Bambi) class of 1956 graduate as well. Nancy was a friendly neighborhood telephone operator at Bell Telephone. She met and married the love of her life, Frederick Troescher and they had four children. She became a member of the Order of the Amaranth due to their philanthropic work and Diabetes Foundation. She enjoyed day trips to Atlantic City and all things Chocolate. She was a social butterfly, always out visiting family and friends. Nancy will be remembered by many for her lighthearted humor.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, James F. Hughes and Anna E. Doyle, her husband Frederick Troescher, her son Timothy Troescher and her brother James Hughes. Nancy is survived by her three children, Nancy Shallick, Elizabeth Troescher and Frederick J. Troescher, her four grandchildren, LeeAnn Gairo, Carol Shallick, Albert Shallick and Hunter Medwid, and three great grandchildren, Michael Gairo, Leah Muvinski and GloryAnn Navas.
